What to Expect

HYROX is designed to accommodate both professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts looking to elevate their training to the next level. It's the sport for everybody, promoting a sense of achievement and community support that's unparalleled. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, HYROX will push your limits and help you achieve new heights in your fitness goals.

Combining both running & functional workout stations, HYROX participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times. Each race is hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, creating an immersive and electrifying race, where your spectators can support you from the very beginning to the very end.

HYROX follows a consistent race format globally, enabling the creation of global leaderboards and culminating in a cumulative World Championships at the end of each race season. This means you'll not only challenge yourself but also have the opportunity to compete on a global stage.

HYROX Race Format

There are 8 x 1 km runs, each followed by a functional fitness movements for a total of 8 workout stations, completed in a fixed order.

There are 3 main divisions: Individual, Double (two-person partner team), & Relay (four-person team). Within each division, there is an Open and Pro weight category as well as same-sex and mixed gender options.
